Hmm are you sure, how many pages back is it as I must have missed the new thread ? . When I did a search of the thread that talked about Leon's from before, I found that but there hasn't been any recent activity on that one.

You are probably running into a glitch on the old forum that I have run into multiple times. I can read a discussion, and then sometimes when I want to go back to it, it has completely disappeared from the lists. The only way it will show up for me is to use the search feature, with the results sorting set to start from most recent first. |

That might be, I tried by going to "new posts" and scanning line by line for a few pages back and I just didn't see anything that jumped out at me. Is this thread you see connected to an old thread or is it brand new as of sometime in later Oct ?

Gary, with your help I was able to seek out each of those two threads by doing a search in the case of the older existing thread or look under the exact heading where the new thread started by starting from the home page. However if I go to NEW POSTS it absolutely is not showing up for me and thought I was going bonkers. Then I realized something and I don't recall ever checking off a filter but there was one checked that says "show only unread discussions" in the new posts section. So now I can see those two threads finally as it was my own personal settings that was blocking me simply because I had read them before and yet in the "popular" search as long as the threads don't get very old any thread I read is there. Good thing I never claimed to be tech savvy because I certainly am not !.
So back to the original thought on this person who posted in both this forum and the old one, perhaps he is just busy and never got back to it but does still seem a little odd he didn't at least acknowledge Kevlar, time will tell I guess. Never the less LEONS has proven enough times that they are completely untrustworthy to put it mildly.

Now that I finally discovered that odd setting my account somehow had set on the old forum, I wonder if your account also is set up that way and is dropping off any threads you had previously read when you go to "new posts" to scroll back in time. When you choose "new posts" up pops a button just below the word "new posts" that says "filters" and mine had a 1 beside the word so I clicked on that filters button and sure enough the top filter in that list was checked off. I had to uncheck it, then go down to the bottom of that list and check "save as default" as otherwise it would just revert back to that same filter if I didn't check the default box.

All this time and I never clued in, I did not often go to the new list but instead the popular list and if it was active those threads were always within that list. Oh well  |

I wish there was a way for the owners of this company to be charged criminally. How can a company continue to take money on the sales of products they don't have and never intend on providing and then take years to refund AFTER someone takes them to court? I believe Leon's is floating their business off of those who fall for their game and that don't do their homework in checking reviews. It's definitely a buyer beware situation. It's almost like a Ponzi Scheme except the money they are using is coming from people who don't know they are their illegal investors! I wonder how long it will be before they are bankrupt. In Court today they were there for 2 different matters that I am aware of for certain, I am sure there have been lots and there are more to come.... If only we can get them all together from across Canada and file a class action suit!

The ceo of Leon’s said it’s Covid supply issues for over a year delay in orders .
Kevlar , your issue with Leon’s was well before any fake flu or supply issues ?

I was just looking through one of those farm catalogs that I get each year, and realized that I haven’t noticed Leon’s advertising in any of them this year, or possibly for a few years now that I can remember, and they don’t go to AgDays or some of the other farm shows anymore. I’m thinking their reputation has caught up to them and quite likely in poor financial shape. Not to sound bitter but I hope they lose everything including their house after what they have done to others, oh and hopefully some jail time.

They have the story about them not supplying what was sold to farmers in the producer now so that should make a few more guys aware.

I had to go look up that article, I see that John is still a compulsive liar . I get the impression the hammer is coming down on him now that several different boards have their eyes on him. I hope they make him sweat. Some of the people they interviewed sounded exactly like my story, hell, might have even been my scraper they were selling to the one guy. Always wondered where it went.

I assume this is the article that was referred to or similar ?, I see John is able to still slant the print to make it sound like its an "everything else but us" and "not our fault" line of BS. Well if they were still such a wonderful company they would promptly be paying back down payments at the customers request after a failed delivery of said equipment.
I happened to still have a greenbook from 2018 and they are not listed in the directory, I would have thought they would have been and not in the current greenbook. Just assumed they like most manufactures would want to be in that publication given its fairly wide distribution. They should be listed as Leon's Manufacturing, correct ?
