Well the thread on the old site was one that I enjoyed so its time to start it up here. I am still not sure of the best song to start with here, but here it goes.

Yeah, I like the exposure to music I would normally not seek out myself so will see what we can do here. As usual, I will post mostly old crap. Songs long forgotten but maybe worth dusting off for another listen, or maybe new to some.
Some live performances on the net by Trooper of this song but they all sound like crap so will go with this version
And a guy not that well known but for emphasis on guitar, one I used enjoy listening to and will put some of the cd's out in the shop to listen to again. Heard one of his songs on the radio the other day while listening to AM (Moosejaw CHAB which I haven't turned on for years but will get more use this harvest). I see some live performances on YouTube so the guy is still active.

Liked that Black Label society, Beerwiser and Joe Walsh the master guitar technician...One of the best lead guitarists in the world.
Graham Bonnet had a great voice Here's one from '77
and one from "78 in a completely different genre, demonstrating how the disco influence completely took over the music in that time period.

From 1978 or so as well, it takes a good set of lungs to belt out her part of the song and .... well just watch
As to the guy and his getup, I think she was supposed to have been wearing that

I see what you mean Northernfarmer...I mean, Good God what a magnificent rack and I agree she'd look much better with the keyboard player's get-up!
