Figured I'd make a post to save some trouble if folks were using WAAS signal but lost it today. If you are using WAAS signal and lost signal (probably Today), you'd have to adjust it to Satellite 135 if you were set to use SAT 138 before. I found Delta Power had a good set of guides for different monitors/equipment that might be helpful for you, otherwise google for instructions and I'm sure you'll find enough reference material for it. CLICK HERE: Delta Power Precision/WAAS Changes
Also, Matt Yanick had a good walkthrough or two for a few monitors on his Twitter as well. Here's for a PRO700:
He also put together a YOUTUBE PLAYLIST with the monitor/video change-overs as well: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFKe7sIfpI3gfchXAbcsWudadtnshbUs7For those with a VIPER PRO, apparently you can switch it with a laptop with RFP SIM Program if it was causing you trouble on AUTO, or if you had it manually set to 138 only. (No idea on my side how to do it though, but might depend on the receiver you are using as far as how to do it.

Thanks. Read this post while waiting on ny service tech to call. Had it rolling before he called back.

135 was an old satellite that was re-commissioned.
138 was used currently, but is now decommissioned (as of May 17, iirc)

Seems the same for me.

The WAAS ground observation data is the same as it has always been. As long as you get the data from a WAAS satellite, everything is the same as it was before. The orbit of the new WAAS satellite is slightly different than the old one, so if you live on the fringes of WAAS area (way up north or central/south America) you may or may not be able to see the new satellite.

Pulled out the old Outback S to throw in the loader for spreading some sulfur, this thing is from about year 2000 so one of the original GPS systems. Now I'm sure it isn't reading all the new satellites but it showed 4 sats and only got the orange light on(not the green one). It was in the yard so perhaps bins blocking some of the sky, will take in the field maybe tomorrow and try again.
Is anyone else using a Outback S still? What can I expect for performance from it these days, it's been in a cupboard for 15 years...

Well it worked today, at least green light came on with 4-5 sats. Had to chuckle when I saw it saying 8.33 hours memory available, and that's after I cleared the history!
Did some spraying with the Raven GPS and it worked, but the Trimble TMX in the big tractors were down and I think my Trimble RTK base stations are offline as well. What a giant PITA.

WAAS satellite changes will not affect your RTK base station(s). Something else is going on there.

Perhaps I needed to shut the other monitor off after I made the changes for it to work properly, that often solves computer problems...ha ha

The other day I saw a handful that were having issues with non-WAAS signal correction. Even having two sprayers going simultaneous and correction went wonky on both machines at the same time, so a wider area outtage or something.

Having issues with a viper pro in my rogator. Can't program the sat change by going in through the monitor. The screen to do the changes comes up but says waiting for connection. Left it on for over an hour and it didn't progress any, tried severaltimes. I can go in through the actual smartrax box and change it but when I shutdown it returns back to the old sat setting. Also the accuboom stopped working at the same time so the booms do not turn on and off by themselves. It still paints where I have sprayed but if I go back over the same spot it just keeps spraying. Not sure what to make of it but flicking switches all day sucks.
