Here's a good clip from the movie Black Dog, lots of truck carnage and that roll over of the highway tractor at the end is quite something. Don't you just love the sound of that "Caterpillar engine" though

I have seen it some years ago but could not find a free copy of it online when I looked lately, the movie as a whole does have a plot behind it that revolves around Patrick Swayze but also has some interesting acting to say the least. I can only guess that the producers thought the screaming jimmy sound effect was more fitting as it sounds off more, but for anyone that has a clue about diesel engines soon figures out they are pulling your leg.
I'm in luck, I did find it on some movie platform although I can't play/stream it properly even on the lowest setting. At least the black Pete starts out in the movie sounding ok.

Isn't it amazing how a small detail like that, which would be unnoticed by 99% of the population, can cause something to lose such a large amount of credibility.

For anyone that was amused by the series Fall Guy and the GMC that did all those stunt jumps ( I have no idea how many they wrecked ) here is a bit of a write up along with a video that has clips they claim of every jump they did through the series.

As a kid, we only had 1 channel CBC. At that time, there were lots of great shows which everyone has mentioned above. I particularly loved the Pink Panther cartoons and Get Smart. As an adult, I still enjoy Seinfeld once in a while. As I grew up, my favourites movie for many years was Airplane (Lesley Nielsen). Later, it expanded and all my favourite movies were all those comedy movies with actors Chevy Chase, John Candy, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, John Belushi and Steve Martin in them. I may have missed a few. Any movies with those actors in them, I can watch anytime even now and help to escape stress. Caddy Shack, 1941, Vegas Vacation, The Jerk... just to name a few. My favorite oldest movie was The Party (1968) with Peter Sellers! I am surprised it isn't banned from the internet! His Pink Panther movie (1963) I enjoyed as well. I find it interesting to watch these satires and see how they point out a time when we could still laugh at ourselves and no one was hurt by it and it truly was a great escape. Movies like Spies like us really have an underlying theme in them that is not too far off the deceptive truth of the world we are living in. This is likely why I see everything in the eyes of conspiracy, manipulation and control. It leads me to distrust everything I am being told by the "experts" and the media. I have no confidence in our present system. It seems we are working harder and paying more taxes while still others ride on a sense of entitlement and live off of us. We are having are freedom to think eroded away and you can no longer voice your opinion without it being censored. Thankfully, we can still watch these old "re-runs" and reflect on a seemingly a better and more optimistic time!
I guess my non-comedy thrillers were the Clint Eastwood westerns from the 60s and his vigilante series movies where he played the good guy! Also enjoyed Charles Bronson.
