It's drier then a popcorn fart here. Injected hog manure Monday. Creeks barely flowing. I know it's only March 1 and things can change rapidly but we are looking at a major disaster should it not change. How things can change as you had quite a bit of snow a while back, certainly on the back roads due to drifting and now nothing.
I just watched a news clip of the road issues over Donner Pass, now that is wind and they already had quite a bit of snow fall but far more to go from their predictions.

Yes, went from bone dry to two feet of snow back to bone dry, pics are January 17. All snow piles gone now, only a very few select areas on north sides that drifted in have a minimal amount of snow left.

Hey cptusa, how warm did it get to melt all that snow? Talking about dry, sounds like Texas could use some moisture. That has got to be very difficult to deal with.

Batten down the hatches Sw man ! Holy , 45 cm could be something with 60 km winds. Last I checked , Morris looks like 6 cms. Hard to trust these forecasts. Maybe come fall Sw man will have bumper crops from that storm!
It bugs me now the news like to show file images of bad weather like we don’t know what that might look like !

What bugs me more is giving out the winter storm and snowfall warnings for a few inches of snow.

So far not a thing from this storm! Who is getting 45cms of snow. In the bright side this storm appears to be hitting swift current area which needs it more than us I guess

We've had 20-40 mph wind all week. It's a bad sign when cricks are drying up in March. I love dry weather during calving but I sure wouldn't turn down a week of rain.

Same here, very little snow if any, might just be old snow blowing around, but blowing it is.

Snowing here pretty good for the last couple of hours. Was windy all night but no snow. I’ve heard places to the west of Saskatoon are getting a good winter blizzard.

I thought Monday morning I would be busy drinking coffee waiting out the blizzard ! Looks like it will be a normal work day. At this point , I don’t want no storms . Just give me nice showers after the crop is in ! A big storm now must be a pain for cattle guys !

A storm is a storm. Doesn’t matter if it’s January or March for us. If you were calving now and not setup for snow and cold it might be an issue. At least this year there isn’t snow piles and 2’ of snow everywhere then have a storm come through.
