Does your brother have the subframe already or was that to be on another load. I bet the secretary at Degleman doesn't have near as many colourful words come her way vs at Leons although maybe she has to call the odd customer to sweet talk them into sending a cheque.

It was in the back of the truck. It’s going on the front 3pt on our tractor.

Ok, I want that combine snow blower. Don't care if it moves a ton of snow, looks fun. And if you can't blow the snow where you want it on the first pass, blow it into the hopper and unload where you want it. Hmmm, might need a grain cart driver too lol.

Seriously!! Is that yours? Must blow snow like a b*tch! Lol. No I remembered seeing it years ago, maybe in the Farmshow paper. I forget where it was from, just did an image search and it came up. Lots of cool uses for old combines, they are cheap power units.

Now that is getting good use out of a machine like that! As long as it has enough horsepower. Was looking at the snow blower one. Must have missed the second page somehow.

Neighbor hung a blower on the front of a JD 6600, the little girl just didn't have enough weight to push through anything. As the bigger machines decline in value they may have a really good second life.

I can see the four wheel drive on a combine equipped with it being a real asset for snow blowing and can hit a wheel brake and crank it around real nice !. So how are they transferring the engine power to the snow blower, is it a mechanical connection that can use a lot of the engines hp ?

Well I ended up just building some end panels for my 12' blade. I probably could have extended them further, but I was concerned about bending them, if they stick out too far. I used to clear the yard with blade angled to try to clean up ridges, now with the blade straight it'll clean the yard almost perfectly with very little back and forth chasing ridges. Probably increased productivity by x3. Attachments:

I was talking to a friend that put a small end plate on their blade just on one side. He said it made it 3 times as fast to clean yard. But he was still able to angle the blade either way to plow snow if needed.

Some of the commercial blades have trips on the end panels separate from the blade and can lift them from the cab if needed. I have only seen that on truck mounted units though, probably not needed on a tractor. Looks good farmer👍. Are they removable? Just a edit, this my driveway. If I dare make a bank on either side it will plug solid first wind. Attachments:

Yep they are removable. 5 bolts on each side. They are pretty stout, I put them through their paces yesterday, with no problems. I would guess if I took one side off, I could angle the blade with no issues bending the other side. Now I'm thinking I'd build a top extension of some sort so when I'm plowing with the blade angled at 20 mph it won't throw snow at my windshield.

Plowing snow with a tractor at 20mph....think I'll post how that can end lol Not my carnage, was how I bought it, have always wondered what the story behind it was. Was a forlorn sight looking out the windshield at how the nose was kinked off the left and down, no better proof of what happens when things are pushed too far... other than the obvious, was a nice 750 series II I bought for parts, 5100+ original hours

I am surprised you didn't need to replace the windshield. I am sure someone kissed it.
