Very interesting! It's a controlled bomb! Can you imagine the forces the crank has to endure with 11,000 horsepower twisting it.

Agreed Bigtalk! I am amazed that they have aluminum block and heads, sort of curious about the life of them too.

Do you Canadians have jet boat sprints over there? This sport was invented in New Zealand in 1981 and quickly moved to Australia before the U.S.A. took it up. The idea is to get around a designated course as fast as possible. This particular "track" is in New Zealand and is dug out of a swamp in a farmers field. Zero to 130kph in under two seconds, 140kph on a 120-metre straight, into a 180-degree bend. Hitting 6g, with no brakes, in a 13ft, 500kg boat, producing up to 1600 horsepower and carving water that's just knee deep: www.stuff.co.nz/sport/boating/70223974/inside-the-world-of-jetsprint-superboat-racing

I’ve had years seeding and spraying that looks similar to that, and they sound like my old Bruin that had a Detroit in it. Does that count?

There are river boat races up here, this isn't a very good article about it but gives the idea of it being a world class sport and some of it held in this area.

Now I finally know what I can do with the 70 acre swamp on my farm to make some money. I'm sure as soon as the first shovel hits the ground someone from the government will be there to help!!!!

Saskatoon used to have the races there. No idea what level they were interesting to watch. They closed off a couple of the bridges and could watch from there.

well have been looking for years for a 1967-1972 Chevy truck to do a fun restore . I love the look of these trucks and brings me back in time to when I was a kid ! I found a partially restored 67 truck with a wood grain box. my plan is to save up some bucks to transform it similar to the picture ! but in the mean time it’s in good shape and a good daily driver! hey thanks northern farmer for the advice!!! only thing is the wife is not happy with my expensive hobbies! lol . I am a little worried she going to buy a 5000 dollar pair of high heals !!!! it’s a 350 feul injected 4 speed on the floor . Paint is 8 years old. duel exhaust . And has the digital dash . least now I have a canvas to work on now instead of browsing the internet and wishing for a truck .!! hey any of you guys got restoration car or pick up projects going?
