Kids aren’t allowed to celebrate goals by bumping gloves or whatever but stand next to each other on the bench. Also not allowed to shake hands Or bump gloves with other team at the end They were supposed to bump elbows cause that makes lots of sense.
Yes it’s ridiculous but it’s way better then the alternative.

So do they have to get there hands sanitized before the real dropping of the gloves? I know its minor league, but fights still happen.

Football just ended here. Kids could play full contact football but couldn't high five or shake hands at end of game. How freaking stupid is that? Were supposed to social distance in the stands at an outdoor field. I got there late, no seating, tore the sign off the bench and threw it in the garbage and sat behind my wife. After that everyone decided it was OK to sit where they want.

My nephew is playing hockey, 9 years old, only one parent allowed and no siblings, no canteen, dressed before the game. Just stupid. My daughter is in gymnastics, nobody even allowed in the building to watch. Went to pick her up after last weeks practice, a few parents standing outside the door with masks on, I go wait without my mask, shortly after a few more come wait without masks on, then one lady I know comes up wearing a mask and we start talking then she takes off her mask while we talk. People just need someone to lead them in all this, the people wearing masks are trying to shame those who don't, because we all know those wearing masks every minute of the day are just good little citizens, aren't they?
SWMan, I seen a Zamboni for sale not too long ago somewhere in Manitoba, I tried to find it last night, but can't remember where I seen it. I remember when I seen it I thought it seemed like a good price and it was somewhere in Manitoba.

Swman on your ice rink: Do it. Like our summer cattle show we did at my place, you'll get nothing out of it but it gives kids something this year. It doesn't have to be perfect just has to be workable.

I know a couple guys who rigged up there sXs with a tank on the back to flood their kids outdoor rink. Another guy close by put up a small coverall type shed to build his kids an ice rink in.

I wish no-one had mentioned Covid-19 this year. We would have been none the wiser and the world would have carried on as normal. There's another disease we SHOULD be wary about and it's running rampant across large cities throughout the western world! Sheeple disease!!!

I get pissed off every time I go to town it seems now, walk into grocery stores and I see young 20 something moms wearing a mask and her little girl who is probably two or three wearing a mask as she rides around in the cart. Its retarded, truly is and its becoming more rare to find someone not wearing a mask in a store and you just know that some of them would be looking at others not wearing a mask and thinking to themselves they are the better person because they are wearing one and forced their small child to wear one. I went to the business I normally get oil from and found their door was locked and I was supposed to be calling them and ordering what I wanted, well I said FUK that to myself and drove away and went to a different company where they at least let you in and talk to someone and pay in a normal way. This summer they had no problem with customers walking in and now they do ?. Unfortunately I don't have choices everywhere I go so going to the bank I was made to put on a mask they handed me with tongs as otherwise there was no going in and again it was just fine going in there not long ago as they had their idiotic plastic windows set up but not now as that isn't good enough.
I can hardly wait to find out what this is really programming us to do and conform to as we follow along like sheep to the slaughter.

Probably this one, honestly it's not a bad deal relative to other sports. One rink and one zamboni makes a lot of fun for a lot of people. Of course will need a warming shack and boards. I'm thinking about it... O_o

I had a small outdoor rink last year for the first time, about 30x50. Shovel the snow and garden hose for water. Don’t need anything special to make it smooth enough. Kids had hours of fun out there, it was fun for all.

My brother works on the one at the local arena, I'll say this, they are not a cheap machine to fix...what might seem cheap to buy could bite you in the ass in the long run. They run a dumb hydraulic systems, on some models and setups as I understand, where if a component fails, the shrapnel goes thru everything else before getting back to the filters and sump. Parts are not cheap and are usually not off the shelf components either. He had to borrow my flow meter to try to get to the bottom of some issues, thats when I got the general run down of how they can be a PITA lol.

I was going to start doing more research on this now that I have more time, but those stats are along the lines as to what I was thinking. A part of me is now wondering if this strain of Covid hasn't been around other years, and now with things thing being the way it is and used for ulterior reasons, and all the testing will put what in other years would have been lumped in with regular flu deaths, all of a sudden is the "New" pandemic. As far as I know, nobody has questioned the legitimacy of the tests being done. If this same test had been performed, say five years ago, would it have been showing up then? Is there any way to go back and test any samples from the past?
