Been running a 760 since 2015, looking at upgrading to a new holdover. They have a 2022 and a 2023, what’s everyone’s opinion on the updates for MY2023. Looking at an 8600-8700 size.

If you grow fragile crops like edibles the new machines crack worse than the 700 series. I had new series and went back to 700 series and feel that the late 700 series were and still are the best combines ever made. I know a couple of farms that went Deere after being long time Claas guys and having a brief stint with the lime green units, that could be multiple factors including Deere buying customers but cracking was a main issue. Honestly I wish they still made new 700 series, but repairing older ones remains a very good option IMO. As far as 2022-2023 wasn't it mostly a bigger cab? My 2020 8700TT had all of the creature comforts and in-cab adjustments that a guy would ever want and the unload speed was great....I really miss that! EDIT TO ADD: If looking for more grain tank capacity I have Power Hopper Toppers on all my 750's and like them, unless you have the 385 bu hopper on that 760 the PHT is an option to add 100 bushels approx. And avoid the belt feeder, chains jump too but are cheaper to fix if something gets serious. Welcome also.
