Have been using MAP 11-52 with my blends for yrs. Fertilizer dealer is switching to DAP 18-46 due to availability and pricing. Claims it will have better uptake and has the same salt index. The other is KMAG has potash, sulfur and magnesium all in one prill. Have been using Polysulfate in my canola blends. Same as MAP, KMAG is better and cheaper. Any experience with these or done the same switch in products? Always a little concerned when a cheaper but better product comes along and we haven't tried it yet and now looking at whole farm.

I'm no soil expert, and other than expensive designer phos-blended products it has always been 11-52 here. I wonder if soil pH has an effect on this decision?
Been looking at filling up my 11-52 bins here last week and price is $1100/tonne, mind if I ask what 18-46 is for price and where it originates from?

18-46 is $1200/tonne don't know where they are sourcing it.
The dealer figured our soils are already acidic. DAP will create an alkaline solution and MAP is acidic.
