Wondering if anyone has info on Claas wiper blade/arms. Bought a normal 23" blade to replace one that was streaking and it is running too close to the center and hitting the bolt near the motor. So I checked the other two and they have longer arms for the blade. Two longer ones are about 17" to center of the wiper blade and short one is 14". All are C48XXX machines so not sure why they are different, all C48 machines are supposed to use the same $107 wiper blade. So I'm kinda looking for either a longer arm or a different source for the goofy offset blade on the short arm machine.
I'm not opposed to spending money on parts, but this one has me a little annoyed.

Can you just trim the one end so it doesn't hit the bolt?

I suppose anything is possible, but the outside of the window is not getting wiped then. The longer arm actually has a heavier spring too, and should give a better wipe.

You could ask by other Mfg's who uses the same cab. You could try Agrifac or i think the earlier Horsch sprayer used the same cab as well. Maybe it's cheaper over there.

So it turns out the longer wiper arm(which is used on newer Claas cabs) is actually cheaper than the offset wiper blade. I know that doesn't make sense, but I ordered a new arm and now everything takes a normal wiper blade I can buy at any auto parts store.
I am thinking that two of my older machines had already been changed up, likely because they needed a new blade.
