What would your preference be? Getting some fencing done and my guy says a lot of people are using t-posts now. Haven't got into price yet so don't know about that.
I do wonder if t-posts would make it easier or harder to fix it down the road. O_o

For line fence I like one wood, two steel. Wood posts have to be creosote, not the pressure treated ones, they don't last.

I don't know. That's the way we've always done it I guess. Steel cheapens it up bit the wood keeps it from leaning maybe.

I would think with all tposts the cows would bend some of them over after awhile.

Few guys used T post here 15 yrs ago. They don’t use them anymore. Good post, spaced properly and 4-5 wire fence all new and you won’t have to touch it much for quit a few years.

I wonder why? There is an old T-post fence nearby here that is quite old, aside from being rusty it is still straight and working fine. It is next to a highway so maybe a bit of salt.
I kind of spoke for t-posts, I think they will be easier to fix. I definitely hate staples. If it gets to leaning I will just pound some wood posts in down the road.

If you have a grass fire atleast you will still have a fence.
