Has anyone built their own grain trailer tarp opener? What size electric motor is needed .
Any design plans that could be shared with us would be great .
Thanks ahead for any ideas how to make one .

I was told that you can buy the exact motor the michels uses off Amazon. About 1/4 price of a factory one.

We've talked about it, even comes with the chrome cover. Use a winch remote controller

I would certainly be interested to see it if someone built their own. Would be a fun winter project for me to tackle sometime.
