Well, it does fit and am guessing those mirrors are very tight to the posts ( do they actually pass by the first two posts ? ) , also looks like the outside dual is hanging off the platform just a bit. A 1 ton dually with a full size camper is pushing 14000 pounds if not a fair bit more if the camper has slide outs on it, they are too heavy for a 1 ton. And height wise on the truck they are at least 12 feet and some in excess of 12 1/2 to 13 feet. At that point would have to make sure the shop ceiling is high enough to be on a lift. I might have missed that but do you know what the current price would be on your model of 4 post lift ?

Current price on their website is $9495 plus I think there is a charge for freight to the dealer, so I would think somewhat over $10000 plus tax if you pick it up at the dealer and set it up yourself. This does not include the rolling jack. Glad I purchased mine when I did.
This is their website.

My question is how often would you be running a one ton dually with a huge truck camper on a hoist? Can always take the camper out if you had to.

That is a good question Kevlar, the reasoning would be typical vehicle maintenance of changing engine oil, greasing, fuel filter, other driveline oils and so on. Of course I know what would end up happening even if one had the hoist for other vehicles, the camper truck would get its maintenance like it always does while on the ground/floor. Believe me they are far more of a pain in the ass to take on and off then some pretend it is, there is extremely little room for error and is a pain to get it realigned into the truck just right, and there has to be a solid place to set down the jacks and then for fear of wind it has to be lowered way down and even then its quite vulnerable to wind. And of course that one of the electric jack motors has not crapped out as they sure can have issues. If one had a large shop and could plunk the camper down onto the cement with no worries of upset, that would make it easier and less stressful.
Not that we are talking about an alignment lift rack here but its fairly important to keep the camper on the truck to do the alignment if that is mostly what the truck does which goes along with trying to find an alignment shop that can accommodate such a unit. RV's, they can be a pain in the ass !

Talked with the guy that sells Liftking lifts in Sask. and he told me that they are close to releasing a 16,000 lift that is wider and longer then my 12,000 pound hoist. Maybe that would work for a camper truck.

That would be my guess also, the weight rating and the extra width and length to accommodate the dual wheeled truck segment better and not just a camper but mechanics trucks as another example as they probably had enough interest in a larger unit from customers to warrant a new model. Are these units being manufactured in Canada ?

sorry a little off topic , but here is a small shop project . I am putting up a mezzanine over my cars and bike collection . On top I will have a pool table lounge sofa and big screen tv to watch the jets and bombers ! My coke machines will go up there too. The stair case will be on a winch so I can lift it out of the way . carpenter said I had to have steel I beams . It’s a fun project . Thinking of a car lift to get 4 classics in the shop.
