Was looking through the Prairie Ag Catalog today and came across a couple of companies I’ve never heard of before. On is Neeralta, says they have been around for 40 years and they make grain baggers and extractors, augers and a few other things. The picture of their auger looks similar to a Brandt but a few things different.
The other company is E-Kay, I’ve heard of them but they are advertising “The Biggar Auger “. Did they just start making augers or is it a separate company that they are selling augers for? They have some nice features and sounds like they are built heavy. Anyone familiar with them?

Neeralta is located a five minute drive from my place. Very good people to deal with. It is a family based and run company. They strive to build quality equipment. They also stand behind their products. The owners are good friends of mine, but I don't have people as friends that I can't trust.

Did Mike Mitchell do a demo of a Neeralta grain bag unbagger?

E-kay has been a familiar name for decades. Spoke to a guy there before I bought my 10x46 Meridian auger. Don't remember the exact numbers but likely 15 to 20% more for the E-kay option with Meridian tube. Was a bit of a wait to get one as they were no longer carrying complete units in inventory. If I was handling more bushels it likely made more sense, wear out the auger in a few years and just replace the tube and screw rather than looking at trading/selling whole unit.
