Saved myself a lot of frustration today by removing the mounting brackets for the loader on our Massey 6180 today. We haven’t used it in years as it needs new seals on all the cylinders and the holes for all the pins are worn, guy before us just kept using it with the pins not bolted in so they turned in the brackets instead of the bushings like they are supposed to. We have a wheel loader now so have no intentions of ever putting it back on. The mounting brackets that stay on the tractor made it horrible to change the oil and even checking the oil was difficult, you would think after a hundred years of loaders on tractors they would have come up with a better way of doing it.
What would it be worth if I was to sell it, it would come with mounting brackets, loader and joystick controls?
