Ya, only crank up. We had a D case and a Cockshutt 30. The D was nice because it had the spring loaded crank that stayed in front. The Cockshutt crank you had to put in and find the catch and then when the engine took off you had to take it out without it banging on the flywheel. I didn't use the Cockshutt for a few years and the next time I went to crank it it was seized. I was a little sad about that, but I really didn't like that gutless gas engine anyways.
