We’re getting some Edge and Fortress applied today, was hoping to get it done sooner but pretty sure it works better if you have the crop off. Weather doesn’t look promising to get it harrowed before winter. Will it work or be a waste of money?

i had avedex applied late last fall and harrowed in the spring and it worked very well, buddy tells me they never harrow just spread in the fall and seed into in the spring and have good results

I just got Edge put on, but they said they liked to have at least 70 to 80 lbs/acre of product so I had potash and nitrogen as well, so I had to harrow to incorporate the fertilizer. They showed up late so didn't get the harrowing done until yesterday morning, was worried about getting a little shower that would evaporate the fertilizer.

Got it all applied yesterday and looked like they were in the last field around 8:30 last night. Never got any of it harrowed. Just put the chemical down, no fertilizer, nobody said anything to me about needing more product 🤷♂️

not sure why you'd have to put fertilizer down we just spread the stuff with a valmar and call'd it good seem to work out, even if its not harrowed i would assume it works like the authority i used, the snow will just soak it in and break down
