Do any of you guys adjust your own moisture tester when it is no longer accurate, or just send it up for recalibration? Had mine done a couple years ago, and it's been really good. This fall about 1% out. I did leave it in an unheated shed over winter. Normally always take it in the house for the winter.

I tried doing ours but I couldn’t get it set. It was way out so didn’t have much to loose. Ended up sending it away to get calibrated.
If you know it’s 1% out we just subtract or add it on. Ours has been good since it just sits in our heated shop. They say even moving it can cause it to get out of calibration

Just a note, make sure your charts are up to date if you are comparing to the elevator.

We got an updated one from Dimo's last year that's all digital. It's pretty sweet now.
In the stuff we tested this year was within .2 of the elevator, close enough.

The app for the tester, charts update automatically and the temp range on the app is bigger then the paper charts.
