Just brought home a new 22 6175m tractor. I decided against the r because it was 30 grand more and the 22 m tractors had the electric hydraulics. So far I really like the tractor. I like the front loader joystick and all the function are laid out simple . I wanted the electric remote p too and it works ok! Quite a big frame for a 6 series! I wish it had a bit more head room but these new cabs are very quiet. Wanted it to run my 16 inch auger in all crops . What do other owners of these tractor think of them??

besides an auger and snowblower what do you guys use this tractor for? mine came with a grapple but not sure a grain guy needs that! how do they perform in minus 25 conditions ? Does the def cause codes to pop up and idle down the engine?

Those grapples are great for hitting your head on! If you don’t have a use for it, I suggest taking it off, know of several cases where guys have tried pulling snow away from something and end up hitting it with the grapple, or vehicle................ Handy if you cut wood though.

Keep it in a heated shop and they work great to -40.
If you have trouble with the emissions the best solution is CTRL-ALT-

We have an 18’ model with a grapple of course. Few holes in walls so I can attest to. Good tractor and tough. It’s dads tractor but he’s no longer with us but I treat it a lot better than he did. Everyone joked it was his green bulldozer. It would pull 70’ of bourgault 6000 mid harrows in severe hills at 5 mph with relative ease. Think if it was deleted it would easily handle over 200 hp. It’s agile enough for a larger frame tractor. It has E range but if it had F it would be a lot better. For a mixed farm it is a versatile unit where other tractors approaching 200 hp are just too clumsy to do choring.
