Does anyone know what kind of distance you can get with a wireless camera? I was just thinking it would be handy to have a camera in the combine hopper and a screen in the grain truck. It’s next to impossible to see how much grain is in the hopper at night and not much better during the day with the sides getting higher on the machines. Would just make my day a little easier not having to try see how full it is all the time and be able to gauge where and when to dump a little more efficiently.

Hey Kevlar , I just installed a wireless camera on my new Elmer’s 1300 cart . The monitor is in my 9520r tractor . I would say it is at least 40 feet between signals ! I am also only using the little aerial supplied with the camera . On my air tank I bought the bigger aerial because that is at least 70 feet from monitor . Works great Kevlar .

My cheap Amazon cameras that you can view off an app on a phone work the length of a super b when loading. Also have one on the end of our 80’ auger and works no problem from the tractor when putting it in the bin.
When the window is just covered you’re half full. When the blinkers come on it’s 3/4 and when it’s pouring on the cab it’s pretty much full……

I’m wondering if say a quarter mile or even half a mile would be possible?

With the right equipment anything is possible. How much you want to spend might be the problem.
