Anyone got some good ideas for tool boxes for equipment, particularly pull type stuff like balers haybine etc? I am tired of coffee cans in the cab or metal tool boxes that get full of dust and water. Ideally air and water tight so all the tools and parts can stay on the machine year round. I was looking at the pelican cases but they are nit really meant for permanent mounting.

I have a dewalt tool box that sits outside on our water trailer it is sealed and works good. I can get a picture tomorrow. We keep papers in it and they have never got wet. Has two heavy duty latches on it that keeps the lid sealed tight.

I prefer the tool boxes on the implement . I am a bit fussy and don’t allow tools in the tractor cab or combine. I really like what Elmer’s did with their haul all grain carts. They have the box mounted to the side of the cart. On the Deere combines , I like the option of putting a bigger tool box beside the fan on the left side . A combine should have a good tool box for even power tools!

I have these on combine and tractor which sit indoors most of the year, but I would think leaving on an implement year round may take its toll. I got them at Canadian Tire. www.homedepot.ca/product/stanley-fatmax-28-inch-structural-foam-tool-box/1000470024Seals up 100% which is nice for the combine to keep dust out. Had to drill some 1/4" holes in bottom as vents because the seal is too good and condensation was causing some rust.

That’s pretty much like my tool box ken but different brand and there is a vent screw on the top of it. Likely for the moisture reason.

Canadian Tire has a toolbox with a rubber seal at the lid. It was too big for where I wanted to put it so I brought mine back.

I am going to have to look at some of the new tool boxes, I never seen ones with a rubber seal. It is not a big deal to take it off at the end of the season as I want it removable anyhow. Particularly on the haybine as the only real spt to mount is on the back and all the fixing is on the front😡. Anyone know if milwaukee pack out stuff has a rubber seal? I like the way they have the mounts and the ability to stack stuff up. It would be nice to have the parts in one box and another for the impact etc.
