Anyone have a Milwaukee M18 heat gun?
I'm just wondering if they are powerful enough to be any use heating up boomspray hoses and water suction hoses for removal and fitting.
They just look a bit small compared to corded heat guns. They are obviously adequate for heat shrink, but would be a pretty handy tool if they could do bigger things too.

They don't have a lot of air flow, so that makes it a bit slower to get larger things hot, so they will work on inch hoses
They use enough power and I now use with the 12a/h high flow battery, mostly because it's there and a lot better than a 5a/h

Good your brought that up. Lots of reviews say it lacks the heat. I guess it depends on the job and which battery pack you are using, so getting a spray boom hot outside the shop might be hard to do I would think.
I use a HD 12 FOR my milwaukee chainsaw and I have good battery strength. Once you have the HD12 pack you wont go back to the 3 or 5.
They also have an cord heat gun. would be interesting to know the difference!
