The other day when I was out in the cold moving equipment around the yard to get ready for hauling grain I was thinking, wouldnt it be nice to add a heated seat on the pete and kenworth trucks and maybe even a heated steering wheel. Its those applications like hauling grain in minus 20 where those improvements would pay off! Does an after market heated truck steering wheel exist? I think you can get heated seat covers.?
Have any of you farmers added this to your truck? I dont see heated steering wheels in many new trucks.

Put a legacy seat in our one truck with heat on it. Honestly never hooked it up and can’t say I’ve ever thought about needing it. Our Pete has it and never turned it on. Chore tractor has heated seat and it only gets turned on when the switch gets hit accidentally. But I’m the guy who never uses the heated seat or steering wheel in my pickup either.

My semi driver would go over to the grain cart operator to talk on a hot day and flip on the the heated seat in tractor and leave the cart operator before the seat warmed up. There has to be a joker in every group.
On a more serious note I love the heated steering wheel in my pickup truck. No heated steering wheel would be a deal breaker for me now in a daily driver.

Have a neighbour who has arthritis in her hands and says the heated steering wheel is the best thing ever. I like the heated seats in my truck, with it being leather it helps a lot.
