Recently picked up a 4wd that does not have autosteer in it, (had JD buy previous owner removed). I have a couple Trimble systems, (750's), but I think I would like to run hydaulic steering in this one vs the wheel.
Anyone have any experience on the Rebel monitor vs the newer MaveriX.
My air tank has 2 cameras that I run thru the trimble, I see the Revel has a single camera input, but I do not see that option listed on the MaveriX. I would assume it has the jacks for a camera - anyone know how many it has?

I don’t know anything about Outback, but is there not any way the 750’s can be made to work with hydraulic steering instead of the wheel? I would think by now that should be possible, but maybe not? I like our Trimble’s but wish they didn’t have the wheel drive.

Not that I am aware of. If they could as I do like the trimble system that I have/use especially since I got rid of the foot pedal and installed a joystick.

I got snooping around last night and it looks like they might do, from what I can understand it sounds like they have a hydraulic block that plumbs into the steering hydraulics. Were I find it confusing is they call it Autopilot, but there is also an Autopilot that is electric that works on the steering wheel. I don’t know how to post a link. Maybe I’m just understanding it wrong and the sites I seen it on just had it worded a little different 🤷♂️ Would be nice if they did, I wouldn’t miss the big steering motor shaking away on the steering wheel.

Haven't done anything yet except for doing a bit of reading on the Trimble site. As you said it looks like they do have the hyd option, but to me it reads like it is subscription based. I did send a question into Trimble themselves about it but have yet to get a reply.

The one with the electric motor built into the steering wheel is called Ez pilot and the hyd one is called auto pilot .. I’ve run both and prefer the ez pilot as it it much simpler to calibrate and make simple adjustments .. the auto pilot you pretty much need the Gps guy to calibrate it with a laptop .. also the ez pilot has a built in spot for a speedy knob

You can't do set up and calibrations through the monitor like you can on the 500/750/1050 with EZ Steer?

Yes with the ez pilot it just like the ez steer as far as calibration goes but the auto pilot (hyd valve one) is a lot more complex, It been a few years since I ran the auto pilot but having ran both I would definitely go with the ez pilot.. being that the motor is hooked directly to the steering it works way better that the ez steer
