Interested if any of you Canadians have used the BASF herbicide Certitude and how well you liked it? Running low on options here for burndown in front of canola to control Kochia.
Resistance is easy to find with Aim (carfentrazone) so can no longer trust that product too much.
Kochia around my area just laughs at glyphosate so that also is only included in burndown to control grasses and some weak broadleaves.
Liberty certainly works well for us but have a feeling that if we keep leaning so hard against it that it’ll only be a matter of time before resistance arises with that as well.

I don't have kochia around here, but I know a few guys in Sask with group 2 and 9 resistant kochia that had good luck with conquer. I have a few guys that use it for group 9 resistant pigweed and it knocks the crap out of it. Actually it knocks everything on its ass.

Conquer looks to be a premix of carfentrazone (aim) and bromoxynil. With aim already not working for us bromoxynil would have to do it all by itself so I’m not sure that would be worthwhile in my situation. I’m interested in certitude because it’s a premix of topramezone (impact) and bromoxynil. We don’t raise corn and have never used topramezone so I am hoping it will be a decent new chemical to take on kochia.

Shoot, sorry I meant conquer 2. It has pyraflufen-ethyl and bromoxynil in it.

I will have to look into conquer 2, Thanks for the suggestion. Good picture showing how kochia in my area just doesn't seem to respond to aim.

Looked into that Conquer 2 and the other component in it is a product called "Vida" here in the states. fairly similar to sharpen or heat in canada. used some Vida last year and was very disappointed in its performance, as you can see from picture we are losing sharpen as well.
