I wonder how this will go? I’m always interested in these kind of advancements but I really don’t think electric will work in the real world. I think the trucks being designed to run on hydrogen fuel cells will be more realistic. Got to give Musk credit though, he’s sure not afraid to ruffle some feathers and try to go places where others won’t. Just too bad they made the truck so ugly.

I question hydrogen as being cost effective, the easiest way I know to get it is by hydrolysis, which is very energy intensive. With losses I would think more energy is put in than the product produced, not to mention the logistics of handling hydrogen?
