People will buy them, but then add another 20 grand to dress it up, can’t have it the same as the other guys! Just like most new toys, out of reach for the average person.
I've heard of expensive ATV's because they have been modified with lots of aftermarket items to create a crazy lift and so on but a stock unit at that price, that seems beyond insane. In fact if one was in the market for that ranger, may as well buy a Jeep Rubicon instead !

My 2020 ranger with 4500km on it is worth more now then I paid. New ones are a lot more now also so difference is likely the same as it used to be

That is exactly what I was thinking. But if you say that on the Ranger forum , guys will tell you the Ranger rules ! I think my 21 Ranger has 800 kms on it ! Terrible use of money but it’s there when I feel like using it. It’s like my mustang and my motorcycles , a grossly overpriced toy!!! I do use my Ranger for rock picking in my soybean fields so maybe I am saving my Deere combines . Lost in the 1500 Ranger is the kinetic ranger. Headingly sports shop said they have yet to see one! It sounds like the same charging problems as the older ev s . Too new technology to spend 40-60 grand on! Maybe the new tranny in the 1500 might not be so jerky as the 1000? That would be an improvement ! The bucket seats are also a nice improvement ! The sales guy did show me a General at the end of July. I kinda like that set up better than the Ranger . You still get a decent sized box and a really comfy cab! What do you guys chose , razor , Ranger or general?

Depends what you’re using it for. I got the ranger cause you can fit 3 people in it. Otherwise I would have got a general. A turbo rzr is a lot of fun though.

Sometimes it's nice to just buy new stuff, but for almost 60k I think I would buy ten old jeeps and run the piss out of them. At least you can drive them to town and just park it when it gives up. We have a couple old slow Kubotas but I prefer 2 wheels and a twist throttle most of the time. The wife would be more than a little pissed if my new toy cost 5 times as much as her "good" vehicle.

I use my Harley for putting around the yard. My Harley three wheel golf cart. My wife’s father had one that he left at our place for a couple years when our kids were just little, it was awesome, the kids loved it!

I wonder how its possible this ATV reads this, could it be there is a glitch that caused a readout like this, seems completely insane that it would physically be possible !

I would very highly doubt it. I ran a new loader for a guy I worked for, was brand new when they got it and they were having some issues with it after about a year, when the tech hooked up the computer it had over 10,000 hours on the computer but in reality was only in the 1000 hour mark. I’m thinking something like this is what’s happened.

17,xxx miles per year? Seems a little high. For one year maybe two I could believe it. But not for 23 years.
