Probably someone that's going to "bale graze" in that field this winter. They put them on end so it's easier to get the twine off. You're right though, a couple good rains or a wet snow and those bales will start spoiling. That sounds logical but I don't believe there is any fence of any sort around that field, if I think of it I will have to keep an eye on the field and see what they do, if they haul them off or leave them like that.

You made a good point about reaching into the truck. I was already thinking of an easy way to widen the forks for corral panels. You changed my mind on that because as it sits I can reach the front of a 8' bed enough to grab a pallet and I think the forks wiĺl be wide enough for panels the way they are. As far as the overall view, with the forks set for a standard wood pallet you can see both between the hood and loader frame. I have a bunch of non standard smaller plastic pallets that I am using right now. Also thinking of mounting a spring loaded edge marker for each fork.

Must be a farmer thing, you’ve had it one day and you’re already thinking about how you can change it! lol. I’m the same way.

We have had the wind tip our bales over on end before.

How about a 740 classic? Never had one but it looks decent.

I was wondering if anyone had heard of this, according to comments for this photo its claimed it is real and possibly something that was even marketed back in the 1980'. This photo as its claimed is in Minnesota. I can't even imagine the stress that is put on the front axle and with having suspension it would bottom out without some pretty impressive springs. Also would need a good hydraulic pump drive to give a decent cycle time. So Kevlar, I think it was you that has an old loader you wanted to sell, maybe you have a truck around the farm you could put it on ! . I just did a search and its in a farm show magazine assuming it will let one look at it as its a paid magazine.
