Can anyone walk me through or know of some good resources getting an old hit miss stationary engine running? I bought it years ago and the seller walked me through it but have long since forgotten the art and subtle to getting the old gal running... Was too young to remember how my dad did it for "parade day" when I was a kid

You might want YouTube for that one. It will be pretty model specific, the one I have is , add gas and give it a crank and away it goes.

I only played with a IH hit and miss. Not much to them and that IH was the same as Tsipp mentioned. Give the flywheel a good pull and away it went.
