Hump pan who runs one. Was told today to take it out and drive over it. Good idea?

Asked the same question a few years back as my new to me cr didn't have one. Everyone said they don't run them and one guy said his dealer is taking them out from brand new. I never have an issue with uneven MOG

mine was slightly overloading the sides so i took it out, and doing that also helped with less stuff building up at the front of the pan. i think idealy it would just be half as long but all the way out is better then having it in imo.
