This will be our first year using a tote of Round Up, we have a chemical handler on our trailer that we can use to measure the amount so don’t need a chemical meter, and from what I’ve read aren’t really accurate anyway. What would I need for a pump? Something 12 volt would be best. I imagine there would have to be pump made just for chemicals as it would likely destroy a regular pump?

Just plumb so you can suck through the transfer pump. Get yourself a pen and tape measure and make marks on side of the tote where you need to suck it down to, it's that easy. Just remember to re-check your marks if you move the water truck/trailer.

Or get a cheap 1” water pump and use it. They seam to last 2-4 years.
I have a meter plumbed into my Chen handler that I use to suck out of totes. You can calibrate it but it seems very close for everything from round up to liberty without changing.

We also tee'd into the suction side of our water pump to suck from totes/barrels. Mostly use barrels and they have measurement marks on the side that are close enough. Simple fast and easy.

Been using a Tuthill (I think is brand) 12v diaphragm pump for sucking out of totes and barrels for years. With one of those Sotera digital volume meters. Have had these two pieces for +10 years and keep going. I do reference the side of totes but don't actually measure and mark. Never used to look at the marks but there was one time I was sucking from a tote with a built in dip tube and it turned out there was an air leak in it somewhere so meter was showing more glyphosate than actually being pumped. Lesson learned. I use a black rubber hose for discharge and can see some wisdom in a clear hose to perhaps see if there are bubbles in line to give warning something isnt right. Or just reference marks on tote.
The Sotera I find is very accurate once calibration is set but I don't do many chemicals other than glyphosate with it.

These are what I use. Pretty quick and reliable. No meters on them, I just use the graduations on the inductor. Meters seem inaccurate for me.

I have been plumbed in to just hook up to a tote and suction through my handler for years now too and I would just go by markings on the drum or tote. This year I went to setter in russel and bought one of those chem meters. He told me they work with suction too. I mainly wanted it for axial totes as I don't like the way they are. So 1300 dollars later I walked out with a nice meter and a tee line with fancy banjo mini ball valves for the axial totes.
It actually works fairly well but not sure it was worth it yet. I tee this inline with my suction line so I can open a valve and meter out one...then reset and do the other. It is a waterproof battery operated meter. To my best guess I am within about 2l of accuracy probably better however it is hard to get used to operating my valves perfectly, he. I got this while I was spraying so I calibrated it using roundup drums as they have good markings on them. I should be able to better use the roundup totes now too as the bottom (I forget how many litres) is covered up. A guy can probably just use a wire rod or something too though.
