Hi, been reading posts here for awhile. Interested to know if any of you have a bin fill conveyor for fertilizer? Looking at a 100-120’ conveyor. Brandt unit looks to be built on the light side, wondering if other brands are liked by others? Thanks for your comments

Welcome to the forum!
I have a Batco 20110 which has been good but not perfect, no major experience with others. I know a guy with a Conveyall and a Brandt and he prefers the Brandt. One thing I look at when using it for fertilizer is how easy/hard is it to clean up after. To me the Conveyall is very busy with lots of shields and hiding spots for fertilizer dust. On my unit I spray all the bolts and such with diesel before using it and then I wash after and spray with diesel after again. After 6 years it is still very clean. Mine was impossible to move around until I put a Auger-steer kit on it. I shortened and re-laced the main belt once now and the plastic deflector/spout at the end wore through a year ago, we just put a tin wear plate inside because the thing costs a fortune. I get lots of compliments from truckers about how fast it is, way better than most every fertilizer plant actually. The pop up hopper can be a bit high if the hoppers are low on the trailer, maybe my biggest beef about the unit.

Thanks SW! Will look into a Batco conveyor. As with all equipment I’m sure the price will be shocking😳
