also lots of space for air movement so doubt sceritina will be a problem( LOL) That's actually another one of the nice features of seeding for a lower plant stand, more air movement and less disease. If the air can get through there early and the little mushrooms don't grow it reduces the spore load for sclerotinia. Even though the crop canopies later when podded if it isn't infected you are fine. I've actually started to not spray my canola because of this and still having excellent results. Now when I look at a field carpeted with 4 leaf canola and no ground is showing I see a disease paradise and $30/A+ in wasted seed. Glad the crop has turned into something for you!
