What type of drill are you thinking of. In Manitoba , especially the red river valley with heavy clay soil a semi pneumatic wheel 4.5 inch is best. I replaced all my 1895 wheels with spoked wheel gage wheels. Especially putting NH3 down the spoked wheels eliminate the discs plugging and is much safer. I believe there is a Hutterite colony in Manitoba that makes these gage wheels. Is it called Ridgeville? Correct me if it is the wrong one. Anyways they make a good product and is cheaper than John Deere OEM gage wheels.

Case p500 Lip that touches the disk is getting bad. I haven’t much for plugging problems when the lip is good.

Seemed like a fair price if they are of good quality? The CNH ones on my disc drill have been excellent, still have a good lip and the machine is a 2014. Replaced bearings once a season ago as maintenance but I think they will go a few seasons yet. I'd be tempted to get stock rubber if the price was close and they hadn't changed suppliers...

From case Stock rubber $70 Bearing $45 Complete wheel $128 Components are pretty pricey, when I did my bearings in spring of 2020 I wanted good bearings and checked all over. Can't remember CNH but think they were pricey then, JD had two or three levels of quality but all were from China, ended up buying #854003 from AGCO dealer it was $15.90 and a Japanese bearing...even got a discount for taking a few hundred of them. It's a super common bearing used in planter closing wheels and most gauge wheels. Another option is to look on kijiji, have seen lots on there from guys converting to spoked wheels.
