Looking for a blockage system and don’t know what to get as I like the idea of the eye systems over the sound systems..but only hear bad on the internet about them but don’t like cranking the fans just to use the sound ones

Talk to the guys at K-Hart. Pretty sure they are Agtron's largest dealer and price will be as good as you will find. www.khartindustries.com/agtron/Welcome to the forum.

Been running a Agtron Legend system for about 7 years. My biggest issue is I do fail 4 or 5 sensors a year with 24 installed (monitor every 2nd run). So I do think there is an issue there. Agtron was good about it as I got probably 20 of them replaced as warranty as they were identifying them as part of a problem version. Something like $200 each. And come spring I will hook on knowing I have 3 or 4 bad ones but not likely to change them out.
Here is the thing. I learnt to not care. Yes, for $15000 maybe I should expect more. I don't know. I don't get an accurate lbs/ac reading. But I don't really care. I know how much I put in the air cart and how many acres I cover and that tells me the truth. The Agtron can be close but I never calibrate it so "close" is relative.
The system never actually stops working. If I have 1 of 4 bad sensors on a tower I can still know the tower is flowing. I may not know if a sensor is bad or the run is plugged but over the years I get a pretty good idea of which it is. And since I monitor every 2nd run then I often check runs on fill up anyway.
So the Agtron works for me with some bad sensors. I can tell if my fan speed is to low by watching the known good sensors, I can tell if a tank is running out, I can tell if the lid was not sealed on the air tank, I can tell if the main line from air tank to drill broke. I can tell many things. I just can't be 100% sure if I have a bad sensor or a plugged run.
So i suppose it depends what you want from a system. I don't think I would ever consider monitoring all runs, even 50% maybe excessive. I find it more important to know if each tower is delivering product. If an individual run is not delivering and I catch it in 40 acres or whatever then I don't think it is a big deal. If a guy wants every run monitored and plans to act every time a sensor shows an issue then sensors failing may be an issue. But maybe Agtron has worked on that problem in recent years because I haven't paid attention as to if old sensors or new sensors are failing.
