Yeah they are 45 miles away from home on rented land and don't want to be dealing with them once the snow flies. Hoping they will go soon

Thats very reasonable given the circumstances and current market. I know some are just asking insane numbers. Many are around $20-25 round bale and you need to bale it. I think many just let greed take over. I mean I get it, I'm not running a charity either, but time and place for sticking it to people. Was same with me selling some high quality square hay in summer for cash flow, most went to actual farms, mostly in Bonnyville LacLaBiche area, guys wanted them for calving and in barns ect. Was same as I always charge, $7 ea. I seen them as high as 15 on Kijiji. Had them advertised on InfoMall, different crowd of people than Kijiji, lot less stupidity and hassles.
I got some wheat and barley straw from a friend/neighbor, same I gave them last year, .50/sq and $10/rnd. Not used to not having enough of my own lol.
