My reasons have little to do with the shot itself. I DO have some reservations about the possible side effects, from mild up to death and everything in between but I personally don;t know anyone that has had any side effects and i know a LOT of people that have had the shot. NO, I am NOT "anti-vax" and no I am not "afraid of needles", two accusations made towards people that are against this shot that, quite frankly are childish and narcissistic comments to make IMO. My main objection is to being coerced into getting it by government and companies. For those that may not know, "coerced - persuade (an unwilling person) to do something by using force or threats.". This coercion by the government and companies is the biggest threat to society to come along in my lifetime and if we (I) let government coerce me into doing this against my will, it could very well (almost guaranteed) be the opening salvo to untold "coercions" to enslave the people and make us bend to the will of the elites. For those that may not know "salvo - a sudden, vigorous, or aggressive act or series of acts.". The more the government pushes the shot on me, the more "Coercion" they use, the deeper I dig in my heals. It is no longer a matter if whether or not the shot is a good thing or a bad thing for me, it's about not letting the government (or anybody else) force me into having something injected into MY body. That is a slippery slope that is WAY too steep and should we allow ourselves to be put on its there will be no way to gain any kind of traction and we, as a society of people with inalienable rights and freedoms will be reduced to slaves to the state with no rights and freedoms. Human nature is such that, if we give people in a position of power MORE power, the more power they get, the more they want. Like serial killer, the first murder is the hardest but each time they murder and get away with it (and their confidence grows), the easier it gets. The same will happen if we let governments and businesses coerce us to do this. I know there are some here that will applaud this post and there are some that will reject it outright. That is fine. I am not posting this to persuade anyone to do anything. I am just posting my reasons, partly to show that just because someone is against this does NOT make them "anti-vax" or "afraid of needles".

It's all built on lies, deception and fear.

I wont get the shot because our nurse confirmed it led to my dads death. Its an awful feeling knowing this information now from an RN and still being pushed to take it by the government.

I haven’t been on this earth very long, but I’ve learned a few lessons this far. One of those lessons is that buying a first year product, or giving my animals a first year vaccination/drug, almost always results in an unforeseen issue. I won’t treat my livestock with an unproven product, I won’t treat my own body that way either.
The divisive line between both sides on this is absolutely baffling to me. Regardless of where our opinion lies about others, it needs to be kept to ourselves. The fact that it is not, is making the issue significantly worse.
I count myself extremely blessed to be able to operate and provide for myself as a sole proprietor - this last year has helped me deepen this realization. I feel badly for my friends and family members who are faced with the choice of getting vaccinated or losing their jobs. As much as they would love to take a stand against being forced to choose, they would love to eat and provide for their families even more. It is easy for us to judge them on their situations and be critical on “giving up the fight” but the reality is, some people simply can’t. I invite everyone to remember this when we engage in discussions around this topic.

I don't agree that anyone's opinion on the GMO shot should be kept to themselves. I do however agree that everyone should respect each others decision whether or not to get needled. I could care less whar others put into their body, does not effect me. All I ask is the same courtesy be returned to those who choose not too.

There is a line between having an opinion, and professing your own opinion as fact that everyone should believe and listen to. I should've phrased that post much better but I agree with you.
