I've never been a fan of automotive type steering on any kind of wagon, more often than not its something you end up having to herd down the road. I have a few running gear with it and my Jiffy hydump too, yes its fine at slow speed, but to go down the road you need half the other lane if you go over ten mph lol. Lot simpler if you just rig it up as a turntable. Tows perfectly straight even at hyway speeds, easier to back up and more.

AB said it all, nothing good to say about automotive type steering unless you are pulling with horses. Then it is ok.

It would also really cut down how sharp you could turn.

I have a truck for hi way speeds, just want something for feeding. If I was to go that route be easier to weld plate with horse cock on it and buy a converter which would cost 10x what I paid for truck frame. I'll just take it to retired welder see what he comes up with.

Hey hope it works out for you then, no prob, good luck. You're massively overthinking what I and others were trying to say and suggest. A few chunks of channel iron and some plate and in an afternoon you would have a wagon with a bolster that you can actually back up in mud or have to worry about turning a bit short just once and ripping apart the steering.
