We don’t grow a lot of canola so I don’t have much experience with flea beetles besides what I read here. We used prosper treatment and now have to spray for bugs. .Going to use pounce or generic matador. What time of day can a guy spray? We’re either too windy (35kph+) or too hot (>25C) through the day so mornings/evenings/night are my best options. For the life of me I can’t find when the beetles are active within the parameters of the day. Will spraying at 10pm or 5am be effective?

We didn't get our canola sown until the third week of May so don't have much damage yet, but the neighbors are spraying. One started around 6am a few days ago - calm and around 18C. The other was going yesterday midday around 15k wind and 20C. I can check if the morning application did the trick.

Morning seem to work well as long as its not too cool. Helps to watch the birds sometimes too, when they are out feeding, you should be spraying. Have you thought of decis?

Morning or night if it’s warm enough. Or all day if it doesn’t get too hot.
