not sure how to do this .... comes up on -most- pages adblocker takes care of the text , but it still
leaves 1/4 of the width of the page empty, zero, zip, nada

I actually like the "recent threads" option. If you are meaning the one near the bottom of the home page next to the "recent posts"
I find it a good way to catch up if I have been away for a longer period of time, can check which threads have been active.

no,, i mean the one that shows up on the top right, and makes 1/4 of my screen blank,
the one on the bottom is fine to me ..
and i wouldn't mind it on the top, just not on the side where it blanks my screen [on most pages, not all]

Ah yes, that displays for me on the home page and recent posts/threads, doesn't seem to on others. I would not miss that if it were removed.

Are you talking about the side bar plugin? I put it on earlier. If it doesn't work delete it. Seemed ok on the phone and meant to check the site out on a computer, but it seems my computer has other ideas.

Seemed ok on the phone and meant to check the site out on a computer, but it seems my computer has other ideas. the right side bar ... yes, on my desktop monitor at showed up and shrank the screen .. basically it made my screen only 3/4 as wide after, the right hand 1/4 was blank [except for the sidebar].. rather than deleting it, can you put it on the top bar, rather than a sidebar by itself?? should still be okay on a phone ?? not sure ??

I am not sure if it can be at the top Warren. Honestly I don't want to mess with all the hard work you have done since this is all new to me. I know it can be narrowed so it doesn't take up as much of the screen, but I am reluctant to mess with much until I am at a desktop.

Only thing I had against where it was, was the shrinkage of the screen ... The board is close enough to complete for a while, and [-I think] only needs small enhancements ? Not sure what they are offhand, but the membership can decide ..

Agreed Warren, you did a great job. One thing I was looking for is a way for members to have larger text if they want. I couldn't find anything in the plugins and didn't see anything in the settings.

If you want larger text than the default, change your Forum Theme in your Profile under Settings to "Sunny Daze". You will have larger & bolder text. Worked for me, that default was so small I almost needed a magnifying glass. Ha ha.
