Saw this farm listed on kijji. Is it sold? It is listed for around 15.8 million. Seeing more of these farm sales prop up across western Canada. SWman is this close by and what type of land is this. Looks like pot hole country. Who is buying these farms lock stock and barrel these days? Oh the capital gains hit and tax rate ! I am sure they thought it thru. Good for them! Where would you invest the proceeds from that sale?

Two brothers farming together and one wanted out. There isn't another generation that wants to farm as far as I know.

Would that farmer's name start with N and he ran for political office many years ago, or is that the one north of Melita? $2000/acre is plenty I'm thinking, not sure what buildings were included. They say in that area you are always 2 weeks away from a drought...
