Oh my lord! How many of those do you have??!! We had a few when we were kids, loved playing those! A couple of yours look familiar, like the one in the bottom picture, and the Bobby Orr one, but possibly some of them shared the players? Does the Bobby Orr one have a large square time clock that the puck drops from? That’s an interesting hobby!!

Yep , most in the 70s had the score board box . Met a few guys just as crazy into this hobby but they are in eastern Canada and New York State . My friend who makes the soho table often sends me pictures of nhl players who buy his game ! Pretty cool . The basic on sells for about 1800 cdn and up. Yep if I get a big oat crop I am going to buy a custom Chex bubble top game. I want to get a Canada Russia 87 Canada cup custom game . About 7 grand for a coin operated one !
Most I got from an old collector on the east coast !

Had an armed robbery happen about 7-8 miles away from home yesterday at a truck stop, at least they caught the buggers. Makes a guy a little bit worried about going to bed when something like that happens so close to home.

Well bugga I was out on the south side of the house today at -6C on the thermometer and I see something moving in the grass, it was GRASSHOPPERS, about 1/2" long, jumping around. WTF?

There’s been a few times I’ve come across spiders on the ice at the curling rink, it’s natural ice with no heat and was about-5 out on the ice, they were at the far end away from the waiting room so they didn’t just sneak out from there. This Tuesday we had our last night of curling and when I was getting the ice ready I seen a couple of bugs, not sure what they were, had wings, moving on the ice. They must wonder why they woke up for that??!!

Was at my neighbours this winter and he had one flying around his house also. He had to make sure I saw it in case he was seeing things.

For the guys south of Winnipeg , watch your yards. The weather is warming up and that is bringing out thieves. A few farms by Morris were broken into and had trucks stolen yesterday . Apparently they think it came from a reserve by letelier . Doesn’t surprise me . One interesting trend is the time of break inns . They seem to be happening between 2-4 in the morning . That is the time my farm got broken into two years ago. Lots of guys are really pissed . If I was one of these thieves I would be worried about bullets coming their way! Too bad we can’t build a wall around the reserves ! Years ago my neighbour threw an axe at the back window of a car that was trying to steal gas .

I was just thinking, I don’t think I’ve seen any pussy willows yet, maybe just haven’t noticed any but that’s something I usually notice right away.
