Think this gets brought up every year around this time, what does everyone use for book keeping? Cost? I'm still old school, but my wife made a program for entering everything, but not sure how well that will work with the accountant.

We're considering Quick Books online. They can even process e-mailed invoices, making some things more automatic. Right now we're using FCC's AgExpert but it's clunky and our accountants don't really like it.
We make no use of AgExpert's inventory tracking system. Is inventory tracking something you need?

I would use the same program that your accountant uses

No, don't need inventory tracking, just book keeping. Have Agexpert, it's ok but think there has to be something better out there, hate doing books so usually go for longer spells without keeping up, so by the time I get back to it I have to relearn somethings! If I kept up better it would no doubt go smoother! I think every year my New Years Resolution is to do better book keeping!

I use AgExpert and I love it. I can do my gst remittance quite easily and at the end of the year I save it to my flash drive and give it to my accountant. I use the inventory tracking which helps the accountant with the Agristability.
