Just joined the forum, came from the combine forum. Anyone been around any of the new sprayers, Agrifac, Horcsh, Amazon, Pattison has the dot platform sprayer as a trailer version, just curious what everyone thinks of these machines?

Welcome here.
Have looked at the Agrifac and done some reading on the others. They all have some interesting features on them.

If I had to buy something other than a Rogator it would be an Agrifac. Only concern is that you can't see your tires to line up tramlines, it has a camera and screen for that. I suppose another concern would be that they are perhaps not as well supported and less parts around, although even the mainline stuff changes so often dealers don't stock parts anyways.

Agrifac is a nice sprayer. My main complaint with it was cab access. Steep and narrow ladder to get into cab rivals climbing a grain bin.
It would take a bit to get me out of a gator, wasn't my first choice but it's a good rig.

Demo’d the older version of Agrifac, I also didn’t like the ladder to get in. Ride was nice, boom seemed very stable, tank size was awesome. Not a fan of the claas cabs, they are small.
Seen some posts of a new Horsch on twitter, looks like similar tank and boom sizes. Different suspension. 10” and 20” nozzle spacing and can switch from cab. Spray very low with pwm and not risk coverage.
Pattisons pull type looks awesome if looking for one of them.
New JD 4060 with the new transmission setup is nice, very quiet.
We aren’t in the market for a new one right now, but I always enjoy looking and trying the new stuff.

Love him or hate him, Mike Mitchell does pretty thorough reviews of these sprayers.
The Agrifac sprayers look interesting, but fairly complicated and expensive! I mean all sprayers are expensive, but the Agrifac look especially expensive. 2100 gallon tank is awesome. Good power and good speed. 40 mph loaded or empty.
The Amazone sprayers have potential (large tanks again) but they currently miss the mark for North America. They are way over-complicated in my opinion. And it sounds like boom design left a lot to be desired. The Pantera's booms couldn't even lift the tips independently. Not a fan of their computer monitors either.
It's interesting how different the operator preferences are in Europe compared to here. Plenty of farmers love both the Amazone sprayers, but I'm not sure very many of us would love them here, compared to the staple of north American sprayers, the John Deere and Case Patriot.
Anyone try a Sprayflex truck conversion sprayer? We looked at a couple and were impressed, but in the end went with a Patriot which fits our needs very well.

Torriem, what part of the Agrifac look complicated? I thought the wet system looked very simple, accessed easily all from the back on the ground. The engine:trans could pretty much all be serviced from the ground. I didn’t like the controls, but think newer one is a little better, agree with you on the European vs NA.

Well seemed a bit over-engineered to me. Electric lowering and raising of the fill station, automatic valve on the fill port, etc. The cab controls aren't too bad. They need to have switches for manual section control. Pushing "buttons" on a screen doesn't work very well in my fields. It looked to me like the Agrifac in general was way easier to operate than the Amazone sprayers. On his video Mike said he felt like the Amazone sprayers required you to go through a multi-page pre-flight checklist.
Guess it's what you get used to. I do sometimes wish I could dump my main valve from the cab, and also control the rinse tank from the cab on the Patriot.
Both the Agrifac and the Horsch use Claas cabs.
The Amazone sprayers have complicated-looking (and loud) diaphram pumps instead of hydraulically-driven centrifugal pumps.

Yes I don’t like the raising/lowering fill station either. Being able to rinse from cab is nice, my deere has that.
