Anyone have any current information regarding the takeover of Morris by Riteway? We’ve lost a dealership in the area but more importantly I was pretty set on buying either a C2 or quantum until they fell into receivership. TIA

I was actually just about to start a discussion on this. I have been going past the Minnedosa plant the last few days going to our other farm, and by the looks of things, I would say it looks like they are in full, or close to full production by the looks of machines they have built sitting on the lot. Now I'm not sure if this is just filling old orders or what? Maybe someone else knows more as I was wondering what was going on with the company. Now this is the tanks, not the tool bars, but it must be a good sign I would think?

On the manufacturing side of things, they are starting to put in orders for parts supply, which could mean two things: 1. They are going to run whatever assemblies they can for now. 2. They are starting back up throught the transition to scale up production again to try operate again.
Again, fair bit of suppliers they were probably in the red with, but ag manufacturer suppliers are usually pretty good about getting things worked out so everyone can keep producing again.

Does anyone know how their legal issues over those drill payments in AUS worked out? I remember reading in the court papers how several million I believe was being withheld over problems with new machines not performing as advertised. As I recall that was a big part in Morris getting into trouble in the first place.
