Anyone here west of Ontario growing Secan Rup variety soybeans? What they offer here in Ontario has quite a range. 2750Hu and up or 2350Hu. Nothing in between. 2750 is a bit long for my area. Just beat frost by a few days. Will have a few green beans at harvest. 2350 is rather short season for here. Looked at their Western seed guide and see a couple at 2400 and 2450 HU. Foote and Gray. Interested in how they perform. Thanks for replies.

Looks like Secan varieties are not a popular choice in the West. This is my first year growing them. Growing a 2725 hu called Altitude. A third of the way done now and I'm calling uncle and hiring a combine to finish for me. My old L is struggling in tall, 50-70 bu crop. For what is advertised as a short plant much of it is 30- 35 inches tall and plugging at the intake beater which is set wide open. Unfortunately the weather has been as much of a struggle as combining. Too much rain after a dry summer.
