The yield monitor on our CR9070 started acting up today. It will suddenly show 0 bushels while going in a full width cut for awhile. Sometimes it will show some random number between 0 and 10 then suddenly jump back up to the correct reading.
First thing I checked was that the clean grain elevator hatch hadn't fallen off or something obvious but its definitely not that kind of problem.
Also checked the plate at the top of the elevator for something stuck in there but nothing obvious.
I would guess those yield monitors are similar on pretty well any CR machine.
This is in straight cut canola.
We have owned this machine for a number of years and never had any problem with the yield monitor until now.
Anyone have any idea what could be going on?

It could possibly be on it's way out. We had one quit on a CR once but never replaced it, was fairly costly if I remember correctly. With any luck maybe just a bad wire somewhere?

It's just your combine revolting against the data mining of Climate Fieldview! Seriously though, all the coverage logging is working fine?

I think its still logging coverage. We had the mapping and yield run screen up on the intelliview and its showing coverage just the erratic yield readings. Its showing the same on the Fieldview screen.
