G'day Folks,
We are able to add smilies or gifs to the forum, so as long as they are appropriate, I can try add em to the forum when I have some time.
I think as long as they are decent quality, appropriate and not a crazy file size, shouldn't be too much to add them.
If by requesting them, you can attach them to your request post, that'd be dandy. I can downsize/change em if they need to be, and add em in.

Not wanting to be a Debbie downer, but some of us, like me for example, with my pathetic service from Telus don't have the greatest of internet and anything like gifs and such really can make things slow. Seriously, some days my air card is reminiscent of dial up days. And also it eats up internet data, again, not all of us have unlimited.
I actually avoid different sites simply because of the data drain, Fox News is a perfect example. I do Twitter on my computer only and have it set it only downloads pics and vids I choose too manually, just shows a very low quality blurred image till I decide to open something. And even then I can still walk thru the 18 gig a month I get on my plan with Telus. Add a couple hours of RB online auction a month, over I go lol.

No worries at all on the data size. Aside from the GIFs, the little folder icons that I replaced them with are actually smaller than the folder icons that were there before. (Folder icons were like 3.5Kb, and new combine avatars are like 1.5-2kB. (I make em in a software suite that I can make it all straight lines and high resolution but keep it super simple for the file size to be small.
For the GIFs, yeah, I feel ya. Hasn't really been too much use for them either. If that becomes an issue for ya, I could try make up gifs that are super duper low file size as well, but that'd be when I have a bunch of free time.
