Just wondered if it exists ? Would be nice to have hoist , gate , tractor pto and throttle on a remote ?!!! Does anyone have the pto switch on the tractor fender?

I’d like to put a timer on the tractor so it could shut off after it’s cooler down.
Pto ignition and throttle I can reach from the first step of the tractor.

[br Depending what year of tractor, could it be programmed like a truck to have an idle shutdown after a few minutes? I’ve never heard of farm equipment with that but would think it’s possible?

I don’t think it can be on this one anyway. Mid 2000 6420 tractor. Never heard of it on a tractor before not saying it couldn’t be done with programming.

I have tractor start/throttle box on the back fender. It already has a factory PTO control. A neighbor figured it out for his tractor and my brother copied his setup. Once the auger is setup on a bin you don't need to get in the tractor until its time to move to the next bin.

If you ever think of snapping a picture of the tractor fender set up it would be appreciated. On my jd 7130p I have the blank slot for what I assume is the pto button. Something for next year to add.

The delay shut off shouldn't be too bad if you have an electric fuel solenoid that de energizes to shut down engine. Basically need to wire a time delay off relay in line with the wire to the fuel solenoid. When you turn the tractor key off, the timer gets it signal and starts timing out your preset time and then opens the contact to the fuel solenoid and tractor shuts down.
With so many types of controls on engines I don't know if anyone makes a retail set of controls. I think it all has to be custom done. Linear actuators on throttle handle would be the easiest option and then parallel switches to existing switches for ignition and PTO.
Such a thing has been on my mind this year. Getting in and out of the tractor 30 times a day is something I would like to reduce. My near future solution is to pull the aftermarket cab off the 4020 and then a guy can likely access all controls from the ground. After that I wouldn't mind a 2nd open station tractor for same reason, or else one with a cab that I can rig up some outside controls.

Those guys are on the right track. Various actuators mounted on the surface in place of your hand to rotate or slide something. Probably easy to remove and set aside when doing field work and in the seat.

I don't know how it would work on my agco rt140. Here is what I have to do to run my auger. 1. Start tractor 2. Hit 540 pto button on a pad 3. Hit pto start button twice 4. Hit desired throttle up button. Would be nice to have something remote, but then I would be 300 lbs by not getting in and out of tractor!

My friend built me some timers a number of years ago for this purpose. Wire it to supply power to the shut off solenoid for a few minutes. Press activation button, then turn key off. Engine shuts down after set period of time.
